"Lejos del Infierno" is the last book I have read and I recommend it because it's a very interesting story about real facts. The authors, Marc Gonsalves, Keith Stansell and Tom Howes, are at the same time, the main characters and narrators.
These three American men tell us about their experiences in the Colombian jungle, from the moment they were kidnapped by the FARC guerrilla, to the day they were liberated by JAQUE rescue operation.
They give us a human, sensitive and subjective version, different from those given by other Colombian political kidnappers.
In general, they show us the horror of the kidnapping in Colombia from an external point of view.
